The Country Music realm is always full of
fun songs and great spirits, and the 2012 CMT Music Awards nominations were
released earlier this morning (April 23).
And it’s no surprise that perennial
favorite Carrie Underwood has the most nods this year, competing in a total of
five categories.
Just behind the “American Idol” alum with
four chances at greatness is Miranda Lambert, including two nominations for her
solo work, and two more as part of the Pistol Annies ensemble.
Meanwhile, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum,
Thompson Square, Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts, and Taylor Swift all have three
