Taylor Swift: Floral Mini Dress Darling
Fresh off of being named Woman of the
Year at the Billboard Awards, Taylor Swift was looking darling while out in Los
Angeles, CA on Thursday (May 24).
The "Mean" singer revealed her thin figure in a mini floral dress with a cardigan over it as she popped into Joan's on Third for a midday bite to eat.
The outing comes as Miss Swift found herself as the subject of conversation in a new feature from W magazine focusing on fellow country singer Miranda Lambert.
Of Taylor, Miranda dished, “Taylor Swift is a pop singer. But she really helped country music. When she hit, I was thinking, Thank God Taylor’s out there to show people we’re not cheesy."
"Some people still think that country music is twangy and cheesy, and they pigeonhole us. But I thought if they’re looking for Taylor’s videos or songs, they might see or hear other people they like, Lambert added. "If her fans are watching for her, they might like me too.”

Gucci : With its unabashedly and unapologetically idea of vibrant sensuality
Spring all started, said Frida Giannini
at her Gucci show, with shopping. A pretty appropriate inspiration for a
collection these days, what with the runway spectacle as much about inducing a
craving for newness in the virtual viewership watching via live-streaming as it
is about informing those actually sitting there in the audience. Earlier this
year, Giannini had been shooting an advertising campaign in Marrakech, Morocco,
where she came across a cache of Berber jewelry. Before long, that jewelry had
made its way from Morocco to chez Giannini and then to today;s
runway.
With its unabashedly and unapologetically idea of vibrant sensuality, Giannini's Gucci will be reassuring to those women out there who've been looking at spring via remote access. They've gotten the memo on the new silhouette—longer, fluid, looser—and torn right through it, literally. That more romantic seventies line isn't anything they want to revisit, relive, or revive. They'd rather go with Giannini to a place that's sultry, sparkling, and always, but always, hot.

Taylor Swift Pays Respects To Fallen Marine
After coming across a touching YouTube
video, Taylor Swift reached out to the family of a U.S. Marine who died in
Afghanistan during combat on Friday .
The "Safe & Sound" singer sent flowers and a note to Sergeant Wade Wilson’s family after watching the video posted by the Sergent's best friend, Corporal Josh Marreel, who starts the video by saying, "Alright, so this is a shout out to the one and only Taylor Swift."
The soldier continues, "I know you have no idea who I am but this video isn't about me. This is about a good buddy, Sgt. Wade D. Wilson, who was killed in action Friday, May 11, 2012 in Afghanistan." Mr. Marreel adds, “Anybody that knew Willy personally knew that he worshiped you. He even slept with a poster of you in between our beds in Afghanistan."
Josh Marreel then asks Taylor to "think about him," and personally invites her to Wilson's funeral services in Texas.
After seeing the video, Ms. Swift responded with flowers and a note that reads, "Wade, thank you for loving my music. I won't forget it and I will never forget you. All my love, Taylor Swift."
The 22-year-old also asked the Wilson family is she could use his army dog tags to pay tribute to him by wearing them in an upcoming music video, according to Gossip Cop.

Taylor Swift's Cafe Lunch Date with Mark Foster
Following fizzled out relationships with
Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner and Jake Gyllenhaal, it looks as if Taylor Swift may
be ready to give romance another go.
The country darling was spotted out on a lunch date with Foster The People frontman Mark Foster at Caffe Roma in Beverly Hills on Thursday (May 17).
Trying to keep their day of togetherness out of the spotlight, Mark quickly parted from Taylor as the paparazzi arrived on the scene at the Italian eatery.
The lunch outing comes just as it was announced that Miss Swift is donating $4 million to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville.
The donation made by the country cutie marks the largest grant given to the museum by an artist, and the money is said to help fund an exhibit and classroom space dubbed as the "Taylor Swift Education Center" - which is expected to open in 2014.
Of the sizable gift, museum director, Kyle Young, said, "It will allow us to do what we do better, serve more people, develop new programs and I'm happy to say that as we talked through this opportunity with Taylor Swift, she very much wants to be involved in an advisory capacity in what we do. Is there a better person out there who's in touch with a young audience?"
