Nearing the end of a jam-packed day of
promotional duties, Taylor Swift hit the red carpet on Monday evening (October
22) at Skylight West in New York City.
The country singing sensation was once
again looking picture perfect as she donned a deep purple dress for the Target
'Red' Deluxe Edition CD Release Launch Party festivities.
Along with dropping by "Good Morning
America" earlier in the day, Miss Swift took time to chat with Ryan Seacrest on
his Clear Channel radio program.
While she made sure to plug her
just-released disc, the 22-year-old also dished on everything from going for the
bad guys to feeling "lucky to be here another day."
When something gets Taylor Swift down,
she doesn't drown her sorrows in alcohol. She just writes them into her songs.
In fact, the 22-year-old singer admitted she doesn't "drink much" in an
interview with Esquire.
She explained, "If it doesn't taste like
candy or sparkles, I usually don't drink it." However, she drinks wine on
occasion because, "It makes me feel classy."
The country crooner also spoke about her
new album, "Red." Though the first single is titled "We Are Never Ever Getting
Back Together," Taylor assures fans that not all the songs are about breakups.
She told the magazine, "This is breaking news, but there are a few happy songs
on this album. I do explore the emotion every once in a while. I'd like to think
you don't stop being creative once you get happy. My ultimate goal is to end up
being happy. Most of the time."
Taylor Swift’s notorious for her
relationship breakup songs, and Taylor Swift introduced yet another single about
splits called “Begin Again” today (September 24).
The “We Are Never Ever Getting Back
Together” songstress showed up on “Good Morning America” to debut the track from
her forthcoming full-length album Red.
Swift explained, “It’s about when you’ve
gotten through a really bad relationship and you finally dust yourself off and
go on that first date after a horrible breakup, and the vulnerability that goes
along with that.”
Taylor’s appearance today is the first of
many, as she’ll be making weekly stops at GMA to preview more music until her
new record hits stores on October 22nd.
Getting praised for her country vocals,
Taylor Swift headed over to a press conference to receive the Gold Record Award
at the Sofitel Hotel in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Thursday (September
13).
Sporting bright red lips, the "You Belong
with Me" songstress looked gorgeous as ever while posing for pictures in a
yellow and white floral dress, happily holding up her framed award.
Adding to the excitement, Taylor's single
“We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” is in it's third week at #1 on the
Billboard’s Hot 100 all-format singles chart; it has also been certified
"Platinum" by the RIAA.
Miss Swift seems to be enjoying herself,
tweeting earlier today, "I love Brazil" while tending to promotional duties
before her forthcoming album 'Red' is released on October 22nd.
Becoming an international country singing
sensation isn't something that most people could ever get used to and it looks
like Taylor Swift still gets excited for all things that are part of her
career.
Just days before this year's iHeart Music
Festival gets underway, the "Our Song" singer sat down to talk about everything
music, including the overwhelming feeling she still gets when hearing her songs
on the radio.
"When I hear my songs on the radio it is
so exciting to me, because it's like an amazing, pleasant surprise driving down
the road," Taylor said.
She added, "I'm always listening to the
radio so when one of my songs comes on it’s like ‘oh awesome.’ It’s really
exciting for me, I cant even pretend I'm cool about it."
The Grammy award-winning songstress also
dished about what goes on when she's performing each of her songs, explaining,
"When I step on stage at the beginning of the show it is the most exhilarating
feeling. A lot of the time when I'm performing live it's really about accessing
what I was feeling when I wrote the song because they’re all really personal
songs."
Swift also added that each song has its
own individuality, saying, "every song has its own setup, every song has its own
mood and its own scenery to it and so every song has to have its own emotional
backdrop."
After the release of her newest music
video, Taylor Swift was spotted getting to work in New York City on Friday
(August 31).
While toting around her guitar, the
22-year-old beauty rocked a varsity jacket with matching shorts and walked
casually down the Big Apple streets.
In the midst of her recent success, the
“Mean” singer has sparked a new romance with Conor Kennedy and the two seem to
be hitting it off famously.
Miss Swift has always had a connection
with the Kennedy family and in an interview with Rolling Stone last year she
said, “I just read a 900-page book called The Kennedy Women."

Taylor for concert tickets, and Swift turned up at January's Sundance Film

Dropping the visual creation on Thursday

market for two to four years."
Apparently Taylor’s new house was
originally listed for $14 million, but rumor has it she only paid around $4.9

"When I was coming up with the name for
this album it seemed crazy because it was really simple," Swift said. "I wrote a
song called 'Red' and thinking about what that song means to me and all the
different emotions on this album they're all pretty much about the tumultuous,
crazy, insane, intense, semi-toxic relationships I've experienced in the last
two years and all those emotions fanning from intense love, intense frustration,
intense jealousy, confusion, all of that in my mind, all those emotions are red.
There's nothing in between, there's nothing beige about those feelings and so I
called my record that."
Giving more details about what you can
expect, the country cutie continued to explain, "There are things that I went
through personally and then there are stories I witnessed going on around me,"
she continued. "When I'm writing an album, my world becomes a big storyboard and
has the potential to become a character and all my family and friends around me
know that. The last two years have been really inspirational and that's why
there are so many songs on the album."
There's a buzz of excitement in the
gossip realm, as it's been confirmed that Taylor Swift is indeed the steady of
none other than Conor Kennedy.
As a follow-up to the previous
GossipCenter story, an inside source has officially declared that the "Should've
Said No" songstress has said "yes" to dating the handsome
18-year-old.
The snitch told press, "Taylor is
officially dating Conor Kennedy." And apparently TSwifty has been helping Conor
cope with the suicide of his mother Mary Kennedy back in May.

Opening up about her latest role, Hayden
Panettiere put to rest any question that her "Nashville" character portrays the
super-talented Taylor Swift.
On Friday (July 27), the "Bring It On
Again" actress attended a Television Critics Association event where she told
press that the two don't have many similarities, saying, "I think aside from
being around the same age and blonde,they're very different. I think once you
see her and get to know [my character] a little bit better, you'll see

CoverGirl.
The country cutie is shown rocking darker
locks in the shots and video clip which capture her vibrant, hopeful
nature.
Miss Swift's latest effort for CoverGirl
focuses on the cosmetic giant's rollout of four fresh makeup mixes - Country,
Glam, Rocker and Clean.
Talking about the importance of choosing
the right beauty products in a behind-the-scenes clip, Miss Swift professed, “I
think in life we have a bunch of different versions of ourselves and that goes
with our personality and how we act around a friend, that’s how we act in a job
interview…it’s all very different how we act."
The 22-year-old added, “I think it’s all
equally different the way we choose to dress, the way we choose our makeup. The
cool thing about makeup is that it can be so different on any given
day.”
Taylor Swift’s one of the most
anticipated guests of the evening, and Taylor Swift made quite an arrival at the
2011 CMA Awards.
The “Speak Now” songstress walked the red
carpet outside Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, posing for pictures and waving to
fans as she went.
Taylor is more than just an attendee at
tonight’s festivities- she’s also scheduled to take the stage for a rousing live
performance, and will compete in the Best Song category with her single

22).

Swift shared, “Her name is Meredith —

guy? The 22-year-old singer/songwriter spent her Fourth of July holiday on the
beach in Massachusetts with 18-year-old Patrick Schwarzenegger, according to
TMZ. The website reported that Swift and the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and
Maria Shriver were spotted strolling along the beach and hanging out with
members of the Kennedy clan at the family's compound in Hyannis Port. "Had such
an amazing day," tweeted Patrick, who now calls himself Patrick Shriver on

This isn't the first time Swift has
kicked back with the Kennedys. In January, the "Mean" singer walked the red
carpet with 23 members of the family for the premiere of the HBO documentary
"Ethel" at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. The film focuses
Patrick's great-aunt Ethel Skakel Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy's widow, and is
directed by her daughter, Rory Kennedy. Swift revealed to Vogue earlier this
year that she greatly admired Ethel, 84. "You look back at the pictures of her
and Bobby, they always look like they are having the most fun out of everybody,"
Swift told the magazine. She also explained how she struck up a friendship with
the matriarch. "I had read up on Robert F. Kennedy and his wife, and I asked
Rory if it would ever be possible for me to meet her mother. She said, 'Here's

forthcoming potion.
"Wonderstruck Enchanted is the next
chapter in the story of my Wonderstruck fragrance. Wonderstruck is about that
moment when you instantly feel a connection to someone, but then there’s that
feeling of being completely enamored — enchanted — when you know a little more
about that someone and still feel that strong connection."
Meanwhile, Elizabeth Arden marketing
honcho Lori Mariano sees big numbers for the new scent. “Wonderstruck was such a
huge success for us — we wanted to carry momentum forward."
In its various forms, Wonderstruck
Enchanted will range in price from $18 to $59.50.
