Gucci is pleased to announce that it is extending its relationship with Charlotte Casiraghi, who will be the protagonist of the House's new "Forever Now" advertising campaign series conceived by Creative Director Frida Giannini in collaboration with Ms. Casiraghi. Over the course of the next two years the new campaign will see Charlotte Casiraghi portrayed by four of the world's most respected fashion and portrait photographers in a series of sittings celebrating the House's renowned icons.

The first portraits tell the story of Gucci's signature green and red stripe through the lens of Peter Lindbergh. Shot against the backdrop of a stable, the intimate photographs of Ms. Casiraghi evoke founder Guccio Gucci's fascination with the art of riding.

After launching an inquiry into the print advertisements, Andrea Levine, director of the National Advertising Division, told Business Insider, “You can't use a photograph to demonstrate how a cosmetic will look after it is applied to a woman's face and then – in the mice type – have a disclosure that says "okay, not really".

The advertisement, which shows the "You Belong With Me" singer's lush eyelashes complemented by Covergirl mascara along with a side of digital enhancement, included the line, "lashes enhanced in post production" or "lashes enhanced in post."

In addition, the organization is concerned that the ads "conveyed the implied messages that consumers who use Covergirl NatureLuxe Mousse Mascara would get lashes like those depicted in the advertisement and that the lashes depicted in the advertisement were achieved solely by using CoverGirl NatureLuxe Mascara, without post-production enhancement."
